Sankalpa Yoga Studio, Grenada is now offering yoga classes at True Blue Bay Boutique Resort. This lovely open yoga space, designed by Russ and Magdalena Fielden, follows the colourful and casual style of the resort. Taking advantage of the natural island breeze and spectacular views of True Blue Bay, Sankalpa is a vibrant and energetic space in which to practice yoga.
The classes are open to hotel guests, island visitors and the local community and led by certified yoga teachers from different yoga practices such as Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin. The studio is also open to yoga travellers from around the world that wish to organize wellness, yoga or meditation retreats in the Caribbean.
Sankalpa can comfortably hold 20 to 24 people and can also provide affordable and Caribbean-luxury accommodation, healthy meal plans and wellness-orientated tours, and activities on site at True Blue Bay Resort. Hotel guests receive 2 free yoga classes per week stay.
Spice Isle Imaging Center is Grenada's first medical imaging service center. We have been in operation since July 2004 and since we began, we have helped our physicians in making numerous accurate, life-saving diagnoses.
The concept of providing such a service to Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique came about when the founder, Dominic Paul, visited a friend in hospital while the friend was waiting to travel to have a CT Scan performed. Dominic realised the need in Grenada for medical imaging services and the idea for Spice Isle Imaging was born.
Our spiral scanner allows us to do a wide range of scans which include Brain, Temporal Bones, Sinuses, Facial Bones, Neck, Chest, Abdomen/Pelvis, and Pulmonary Embolism just to mention a few.
We have a team of highly trained specialists who provide treatment in various fields for those in need. Our facility is equipped with an advanced tele-radiology system which allows our radiologist and other specialists to instantly review, analyse scans and issue reports.
Previously located in Petite Esperance, St. David's on the grounds of the R.C. Church, we are now located on The Carenage, in St. George's.
We are open Monday to Friday from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. and on Saturdays from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M. We do have a 24-hour emergency service.

This app is a fairly comprehensive guide to Grenada, Carriacou, and PM. The calendar is up to date and the category directory actually contains current information on local businesses and attractions unlike many of the Grenada business directories on the web. One thing that could be added at some point is a social feature that would allow the user to connect to others that happen to be nearby and/or delivery proximity ads/discounts such as "stop in here in the next ten minutes and get 3 for $10 cold Caribs". Okay, so that is my feature request. But as is, the app is very handy to explore before a visit and useful while on the island
